Lead Data Architect - Microsoft Fabric & AI

Position Overview : Job Title : Lead Data Architect / Principal Fabric & AI Engineer Experience Level : 810 Years Location : Hybrid / Remote options available Department : Data Engineering, Analytics, and AI Solutions Key Responsibilities : 1. Fabric & Warehousing : - Architect enterprise-grade analytics solutions utilizing Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, and Delta Lakehouses. 2. Lakehouse & Dataflows : - Build scalable Lakehouse architectures and design efficient, low-code ETL pipelines using Dataflows Gen2. 3. AI-Enabled App & Report Development (Good to have) : - Utilize Python and the Rayfin CLI to build agent-friendly, code-first data backends, analytical web apps, and embedded AI data agents directly within the Fabric ecosystem. 4. Data Modeling : - Model complex enterprise semantic layers, relational systems, and high-performance star schemas. 5. Workspace Administration : - Manage Power BI workspace governance, multi-environment deployments, capacity planning, and rigorous tenant/row-level security. 6. Modern CI/CD & AI-Assisted Engineering : - Establish version control and deployment pipelines via GitHub. Integrate GitHub Copilot into daily development workflows to accelerate backend coding, script writing, and DAX optimization. Required Skills & Qualifications : - Experience : 810 years in data warehousing, BI development, and building analytics architectures at scale. - Programming & AI Tools : Advanced proficiency in Python, SQL, and the Rayfin CLI ecosystem for deploying secure AI-driven application backends. - Development Workflows : Deep experience with GitHub for version control and a strong command of GitHub Copilot for AI-assisted coding and automated code quality workflows. - Microsoft Fabric & Lakehouse : Comprehensive mastery of Fabric core components, including Lakehouse environments, Delta format, and Dataflows. - Workspace Governance : Extensive experience managing enterprise Power BI workspace security, sharing permissions, and lifecycle deployments. - BI Excellence : Expert-level capability in Power BI Desktop/Service and deep performance optimization of DAX and Power Query scripts.
