Job Description
We're partnering with a growing boutique accounting firm in Melbourne's CBD that's known for delivering high-quality tax, business advisory and commercial solutions to an impressive portfolio of clients.
This is an opportunity to join a collaborative, high-performing team where you'll work closely with experienced leaders, gain exposure to complex advisory work, and play a key role in mentoring junior accountants while building long-term client relationships.

What You'll Be Doing
• Manage a diverse portfolio of clients across a range of industries
• Prepare and review financial statements and tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships and high-net-worth individuals
• Deliver tax planning and business advisory services
• Work on complex tax matters including Division 7A, FBT, payroll tax, trust distributions and business structuring
• Prepare management reports, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis
• Build trusted relationships with clients and provide commercial advice
• Mentor and review the work of junior accountants
• Collaborate with senior leaders on advisory projects, restructures and strategic business matters
• Liaise with the ATO and other key stakeholders
What You'll Bring
• 4+ years' Australian public practice experience
• CA or CPA qualified
• Strong taxation and business services knowledge
• Experience with tax planning and advisory work
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills
• Strong technical capability across Australian tax legislation
• Experience using Xero, CAS360 and Microsoft Excel
• A proactive mindset with the ability to manage competing priorities
• A genuine desire to mentor others and continue developing professionally
