Role Overview: As an SDET II at GreyOrange, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability and scalability of our robotic orchestration and warehouse management platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams of software engineers, product managers, and hardware specialists to design robust testing frameworks that validate complex distributed systems. Your work will directly influence the stability of our deployments, ensuring that our software performs seamlessly under the high-pressure demands of global supply chain operations. Key Responsibilities: - Architect and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Java or Python to improve test coverage across our software ecosystem. - Execute comprehensive API testing to ensure seamless integration and communication between our robotic hardware and cloud-based management platforms. - Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to facilitate rapid, high-quality software releases. - Collaborate with development teams to identify performance bottlenecks and architectural weaknesses early in the software development lifecycle. - Manage version control and environment configurations using Git and Docker to ensure consistency across testing and production environments. - Mentor junior team members on testing best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of our internal quality assurance processes. Required Skillset: - Demonstrated expertise in building and maintaining automation frameworks using Selenium, with a strong command of Java or Python programming languages. - Proven ability to design and execute complex API testing strategies for distributed systems and microservices architectures. - Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and containerization technologies such as Docker to streamline deployment workflows. - Proficiency in version control systems, specifically Git, to manage codebases in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate technical quality metrics to stakeholders across engineering and product teams. - A minimum of 3 to 6 years of professional experience in software testing or development, with a track record of delivering high-quality software products. - Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment at our Gurgaon office, demonstrating self-motivation and a collaborative mindset.
