Are you a creative thinker with a passion for turning ideas into eye-catching designs?
Our client in Paarden Eiland is looking for a talented Graphic Designer to bring fresh, engaging visual ideas to their portfolio and presentation thereof to large retail markets. Solid experience with Photoshop and Illustrator, and working on a Mac computer, is essential.
This is a full-time in-office position: Monday to Friday 08:00 – 17:00 Duties & Responsibilities Requirements
• Matric certificate and relevant graphic design qualification
• 2–3 years of experience in a graphic design role
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator
• Experience in Canva and AI tools are highly beneficial
• Strong understanding of design principles, typography, colour theory layout and visual hierarchy
• Experience creating digital and print marketing materials
• Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for visual consistency
• Ability to interpret briefs and translate concepts into engaging visual content
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• A creative, proactive and solutions-driven approach
• Basic knowledge of brand guidelines and corporate identity would be advantageous
Duties
• Develop creative concepts and designs based on briefs and brand requirements
• Design marketing materials for fashion and retail items
• Maintain brand consistency across all visual communications
• Adapt existing artwork for different formats, platforms and campaigns
• Prepare final artwork for digital and print production
• Retouch and edit images as required
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting agreed deadlines
• Keep up to date with current design trends, AI tools and industry developments
• Maintain organised design files and creative assets
• Make revisions based on feedback while ensuring the integrity of the original creative concept
Salary: R negotiable dependent on experience
