Job Description
What will you do:
• Lead the design and development of solutions for legacy products (Sustenance Engineering).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Quality, Regulatory, Operations) across time zones to execute projects.
• Contribute to value improvement and design optimization activities. Implement drawing and model changes in CAD.
• Coordinate with internal and external manufacturers to decide on the implementation of proposed changes.
• Make decisions and document part marking exemptions. Apply various change management systems.
• Update project status in the project database. Support Engineering Change Requests (ECRs).
• Communicate effectively across different functions, locations, and cultures.
• Follow procedures and instructions to provide lean, robust, and meaningful project documentation. Provide input to the team to implement a large project scope efficiently and smartly.
What You Need
Required:
• Diploma or bachelor's in mechanical engineering or similar domain 2-4 years of work experience.
• Experience in using UG NX, Creo, SolidWorks
• Experience in PLM software Teamcenter & windchill.
• Understanding of change management process.
Preferred:
• Good communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional, global teams.
• Experience in using UG NX.
• Knowledge of medical devices and UDI part marking will be an added advantage.
