' : - ( - ) Experience: 8+ yrs Location: Hyderabad, Bengaluru Job Type: Full-time We are looking for an experienced Java Tech Lead to lead a high-performing engineering squad responsible for designing, developing, and delivering scalable enterprise applications. The role combines hands-on technical expertise with team leadership, architectural guidance, and stakeholder management. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, ReactJS, MongoDB, Kafka, and CI/CD , along with proven experience mentoring engineers and driving high-quality software delivery. Requirements Key Responsibilities • Lead a squad of Java engineers through solution design, development, testing, and delivery. • Design and develop scalable microservices and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot. • Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards, design principles, and architectural best practices. • Contribute hands-on to complex development tasks and technical problem-solving. • Support full-stack feature delivery using ReactJS where required. • Design, optimise, and maintain MongoDB and relational database schemas and queries. • Guide the team on Kafka integration and event-driven architecture practices. • Drive and improve CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and modern engineering practices. • Collaborate with solution architects, product owners, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and other stakeholders. • Estimate development effort, support sprint planning, and ensure timely delivery of commitments. • Mentor and coach junior and mid-level engineers through technical guidance, reviews, and knowledge sharing. • Identify technical risks, dependencies, performance issues, and opportunities for continuous improvement. • Communicate technical decisions, project status, risks, and delivery progress to stakeholders and onshore teams. • Promote a culture of ownership, engineering excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning. What Makes You a Great Fit • 8+ years of experience in Java software development, including 3+ years in a Tech Lead or similar technical leadership role . • Expert-level knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture . • Strong experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and distributed applications. • Advanced proficiency in ReactJS and hands-on experience with full-stack development. • Strong expertise in MongoDB and relational database technologies. • Working knowledge of Apache Kafka and event-driven systems. • Experience with Jenkins and CI/CD pipeline implementation . • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum software development and delivery practices. • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and technically guide engineering teams. • Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills. • Strong communication and stakeholder-management capabilities, including experience working with onshore teams. • High ownership mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver in a fast-paced environment. • Experience in the Financial Services domain will be an advantage.
