TeamJobs are recruiting exclusively for a Head of Manufacturing & Operations to join a successful and growing FMCG food manufacturer. This isn't about maintaining the status quo. You'll be joining a business where you can genuinely influence how the operation develops, improve manufacturing performance and help shape the next stage of growth. You'll have overall responsibility for Production, Bottling, Warehouse and Logistics, but the heart of this role is food manufacturing. We're looking for someone who enjoys being close to the operation, leading people, improving processes and delivering measurable results. What's on offer? • Salary up to £80,000 • Monday-Friday • 9:00am-5:30pm • Permanent position • Genuine opportunity to influence and develop a growing manufacturing operation The Role • Lead Production, Bottling, Warehouse and Logistics • Drive improvements across OEE, productivity, waste, downtime, output and labour efficiency • Lead, develop and mentor production management teams • Work closely with Planning, Engineering, Quality, Technical, Purchasing and Laboratory teams • Improve manufacturing processes, performance and operational capability • Use KPIs and data to identify opportunities and drive continuous improvement • Support NPD and changes to manufacturing processes • Influence automation, equipment upgrades and future CAPEX investment • Ensure high standards across HACCP, GMP, food safety, quality and Health & Safety • Ensure the operation has the people, processes and capacity needed to support future growth What We're Looking For We're looking for someone with significant hands-on experience leading Production or Manufacturing within a food or drink manufacturing environment. You may currently be working as a Head of Manufacturing, Head of Production, Manufacturing Manager, Factory Manager, Senior Production Manager or Head of Operations and be ready for your next challenge. You'll need a strong track record of leading production teams and improving manufacturing performance, with experience across OEE, Continuous Improvement, waste, efficiency, output and cost. You'll be comfortable working at a strategic level but equally happy being visible on the factory floor, understanding what's happening within the operation and supporting your teams. Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, food safety and quality standards is essential, alongside experience working cross-functionally with areas such as Engineering, Planning, Quality, Technical and Supply Chain.
