Job Description
Salary: £60,000 - 100,000 per year
Requirements:
• We require 5+ years in AI/ML engineering with a documented history of moving complex models from research into production.
• We require deep proficiency in Python, with a strong commitment to clean coding standards, modular design, and comprehensive unit and integration testing.
• We require hands-on experience with LLM training cycles, parameter-efficient fine-tuning (PEFT), and sophisticated prompt engineering.
• We require experience with high-performance inference servers such as vLLM, TGI, or Triton, and an understanding of how to optimize models for GPU deployment.
• We require comfort working in Linux-based environments and proficiency in managing containerized workloads and automated CI/CD pipelines.
• We require experience building production-ready Retrieval-Augmented Generation systems, including vector database management and semantic search optimization.
• We require fluency in Portuguese and English.
• Preferred: experience in the insurance or financial services sector.
• Preferred: deep knowledge of GPU architecture, CUDA, and hardware-level performance optimization.
• Preferred: familiarity with Document Intelligence frameworks, including OCR, layout analysis, and multimodal extraction. Responsibilities:
• We will lead the adaptation of Large Language Models for domain-specific tasks using techniques such as LoRA, QLoRA, and PEFT.
• We will architect and optimize inference pipelines to minimize TTFT and maximize throughput, including quantization, caching strategies, and efficient batching.
• We will build and maintain real-time AI pipelines using WebSockets and SSE for low-latency delivery for voice and text applications.
• We will deploy and orchestrate models within containerized microservice architectures using Docker and Kubernetes, ensuring monitoring, security, and scalability.
• We will work closely with Business Analysts and internal stakeholders to bridge commercial requirements and technical implementation. Technologies:
