Content Writer - GEO/AEO

About the Role: We are looking for a Content Writer / AI Content Marketing Specialist with strong experience creating content designed to perform across Generative Engines and Answer Engines. The ideal candidate should combine excellent writing and editing skills with a practical understanding of GEO/AEO, AI-assisted content creation, search visibility, and audience-focused content strategy. Roles & Responsibilities: - Create high-quality, engaging, and GEO/AEO-friendly content for digital platforms. - Write, edit, and proofread blogs, articles, website content, landing pages, and marketing copy. - Leverage AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, or similar platforms to improve content creation, quality, and productivity. - Conduct keyword research and implement GEO/AEO best practices to improve content visibility and performance. - Understand how content is discovered, retrieved, and surfaced by Generative Engines and Answer Engines. - Collaborate with marketing and business teams to develop content strategies aligned with business objectives. - Research industry trends, audience needs, and relevant topics to create informative and engaging content. - Human-edit and refine AI-generated content to ensure accuracy, originality, readability, relevance, and natural tone. - Maintain consistency in tone, style, brand messaging, and editorial quality across digital content. - Track content performance and identify opportunities to improve visibility across search and AI-driven platforms. Ideal Candidate: - 5+ years of experience in content writing, preferably with demonstrated experience creating content optimized for Generative Engines or Answer Engines. - Practical experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar AI writing platforms. - Candidates who have actively leveraged AI to enhance content quality and productivity while maintaining human editorial judgment will be highly preferred. - Minimum 1 year of experience in at least one of the following domains: FinTech, Automobile, Healthcare, Electronics. Technical & Content Skills: - Strong understanding of GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) and AEO (Answer Engine Optimization). - Understanding of how Generative Engines and Answer Engines discover, retrieve, evaluate, and present content. - Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and research skills. - Knowledge of keyword research and content optimization. - Ability to structure content for both human readers and AI-driven search experiences. - Strong understanding of content quality, relevance, authority, and discoverability. Education: - Degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Media Studies, or a related discipline from a Tier-1 institution. - Preferred institutions include IIMC Delhi, FTII, SIMC Pune, Lady Shri Ram College Delhi, and other reputed Tier-1 institutions.
