Job Description

Role Overview: This role is responsible for supporting the Treasury Front Office in daily operations, assisting with fund-raising activities across various financial instruments, and ensuring accurate documentation and timely preparation of MIS reports to facilitate strategic decision-making. Role & responsibilities: - Liaise with various banks and financial institutions to raise funds through term loans and other credit facilities based on the organizations funding needs. - Ensure all documentation and disbursement processes are completed efficiently and within stipulated timelines. - Ensure timely completion and submission of all banking-related compliance activities, including covenants, declarations, and periodic statements, in line with regulatory norms and lender requirements. - Negotiate interest rates and terms for new loans and rate resets to secure favorable terms aligned with the companys financial strategy. - Evaluate market conditions and benchmark rates to support rate negotiations. - Proactively manage and nurture relationships with both existing and potential lenders to support ongoing and future financing needs. - Address lender queries, provide required information, and ensure smooth communication and collaboration. - Monitor rating requirements and validity for all outstanding financial instruments to ensure ongoing compliance with internal policies and lender expectations. - Maintain a calendar of rating reviews and related milestones. - Coordinate with multiple rating agencies (typically four) for the timely issuance and renewal of rating letters, as well as for rating enhancements or redemptions. - Prepare and present required documentation and financial data to support the rating process. - Assist in the preparation of detailed and accurate MIS reports related to treasury activities, fund utilization, and financial exposure. - Ensure reports are delivered within defined timelines and are aligned with internal reporting standards. Preferred candidate profile: - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate across teams. - Proficiency in financial analysis and interpretation of financial data. - Strong networking skills to build and maintain professional relationships. - Proven experience in managing relationships with banks and other financial institutions. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
