Data Analyst - Power BI Development

Experience Range : 5 - 7 years overall, with at least 4 years of hands-on departmental analytics and reporting activities. Core Technical Skills : - Power BI Development : End-to-end dashboard/report creation, KPI tracking, drill-through, and performance optimization. - DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) : Complex measures, reusable calculations, advanced performance tuning. - Power Query (M Language) : ETL workflows, cleansing, reusable query logic, automation of data pipelines. - SQL & Query Optimization : Advanced joins, indexing, stored procedures, query tuning for large datasets. - Microsoft Fabric : Exposure to Fabric ecosystem for scalable data engineering and analytics. - Data Modeling & ETL : Star schema, fact/dimension modeling, ETL orchestration, validation. - Data Governance & Reporting Standards : Compliance, lineage tracking, KPI accuracy, reporting optimization. Key Responsibilities : - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver scalable BI solutions. - Translate business requirements into technical specifications for dashboards, reports, and data models. - Ensure data accuracy, governance, and compliance with organizational standards. - Optimize SQL queries and BI workflows for performance and scalability. - Mentor junior team members, fostering knowledge-sharing and best practices. - Contribute to departmental analytics strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Educational Qualifications : - B.E / B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline. - Advanced certifications in BI/Data Engineering (preferred).
