Job Description

Technical Business Analyst - Southwest UK - Hybrid - Manufacturing - Up to £60k A market-leading manufacturing organisation is embarking on a major digital transformation journey and is looking for a Technical Business Analyst to play a key role in shaping the future of its systems, processes and technology landscape. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working across the business, engaging with stakeholders, solving complex operational challenges and turning ideas into effective technical solutions. You'll be involved in everything from process improvement and systems integration to helping deliver modern cloud-based platforms that drive real business value. You'll act as the bridge between stakeholders and development teams, taking ownership of requirements gathering, process analysis, solution design and successful delivery of business-critical technology initiatives. The Role • Analysing and documenting current and future-state business processes. • Translating business requirements into clear functional and technical specifications. • Creating user stories, use cases, process maps and supporting documentation. • Working alongside internal development teams and third-party vendors to deliver system enhancements and integrations. • Driving process optimisation and continuous improvement initiatives. • Managing stakeholder expectations and ensuring alignment throughout project life cycles. Key Skills & Experience • Strong SQL skills and experience working with data to support analysis and decision-making. • Experience working with APIs, integrations, EDI, XML, JSON or middle ware technologies. • Understanding of ERP and business systems environments. • Experience producing documentation such as BRDs, functional specifications, user stories and use cases. • Experience within manufacturing, logistics, supply chain, production or operational environments would be highly advantageous.
