Senior Mechanical Engineer

Job Role: Senior Mechanical Engineer Job Description • Design, develop, and optimize mechanical components and assemblies for products incorporating BLDC motors. • Analyze motor integration requirements, including mounting arrangements, cooling systems, shaft couplings, housings, and transmission mechanisms. • Prepare, review, and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T specifications, BOMs, and assembly documentation. • Perform tolerance stack-up analysis to ensure proper fit, function, and manufacturability of components. • Lead mechanical assembly activities, prototype builds, and product validation testing. • Troubleshoot mechanical and assembly-related issues during prototype and production stages. • Coordinate with electrical, manufacturing, quality, and procurement teams throughout the product development process. • Support supplier development, component selection, and technical reviews. • Ensure mechanical designs comply with applicable engineering standards, quality requirements, and safety regulations. • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product performance, reliability, manufacturability, and cost efficiency. • Identify and implement design improvements based on testing, production feedback, and performance requirements. • Prepare technical reports, design documentation, engineering change requests, and other relevant engineering records.
