Business Head - Retail

Hiring: Business Head Non-Tech Retail | Bengaluru We are looking for an experienced Business Head Non-Tech Retail to lead a large-scale retail business and drive its next phase of growth. This is a P&L leadership role requiring strong expertise across retail strategy, business expansion, customer experience, operations, inventory management, and people leadership. Key Responsibilities: - Define and execute the business vision, strategy and 3-year growth plan. - Own revenue, profitability and overall business performance. - Drive new store expansion and e-commerce growth. - Build a differentiated customer experience across retail operations. - Establish and implement SOPs and operational excellence across stores. - Lead seasonal buying, inventory planning and inventory optimisation. - Drive reduction in ageing stock and improve inventory turns. - Manage vendor/principal relationships and optimise commercial terms. - Build and lead high-performing teams, including succession and leadership development. - Partner closely with Finance, HR, Marketing, Strategy and Store Development teams. Ideal Profile: - 10+ years of experience in the retail industry. - Strong experience managing large-scale retail operations. - Proven track record of managing a business with 100 Cr+ revenue. - Strong commercial and business acumen, with a clear focus on profitability. - Experience in P&L/business management, store expansion and operations. - Strong understanding of consumer behaviour, market trends and retail dynamics. - Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders. - Strong analytical, strategic planning and decision-making capabilities. - Graduate/MBA preferred.
