An exciting opportunity is now available for an experienced Senior Financial Accountant to join our Finance team on a 6-month fixed term contract with a real view to permanency. What You'll Be Doing Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will play a critical role in delivering accurate financial reporting, compliance, governance, and business insights across the Manassen Group and Sunbeam Foods businesses. Acting as the 2IC to the Financial Controller, you'll help ensure the integrity of financial information while identifying opportunities to improve processes, controls, and reporting outcomes. • Lead month-end reporting and financial analysis activities • Prepare and distribute monthly reporting packs and management reports • Provide variance analysis and commentary on results and expenses • Ensure balance sheet integrity through effective reconciliation governance • Manage the Fixed Asset Register and capital expenditure reporting • Oversee GST, BAS and related compliance obligations • Support compliance requirements including Payroll Tax, FBT, Workers Compensation, ABS reporting and treasury activities • Coordinate external audit requirements and statutory reporting • Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and strengthen internal controls • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business • Provide support to the Financial Controller as required during periods of leave or absence What You Bring • CPA or CA qualification • Degree in Accounting, Commerce or related discipline • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar post-qualified accounting role • Experience working within a multi-divisional organisation • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups and complex formulas • Strong financial reporting and compliance experience • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills • Sound commercial acumen and analytical capability • A continuous improvement mindset with strong problem-solving skills • The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment Why Manassen?
