Description: Job Title: Chief Manufacturing Officer (CMO) Industry: Large-Scale Manufacturing / Industrial / Heavy Engineering Location: India Educational Qualification: B.Tech / BE / M.Tech / MBA / CA qualification will be an added advantage (for strong financial & cost control) Experience: - Minimum 18 years of leadership experience in Plant / Operations Management - Proven track record of managing multiple large plants with full P&L accountability - Strong experience in handling large, complex, multi-location projects - Expertise in manufacturing strategy, cost management, automation, and operational excellence - Strong leadership, HR & IR skills, with experience managing large workforces - Deep knowledge of statutory compliances and government liaison - Industry background preferred: Steel, Mining, Heavy Engineering, Auto OEMs, Industrial Equipment, Chemicals, Petrochemicals, Manufacturing, Process Industries ,Cement, Engineering, Building material. Stable career with proven contributions across reputed organizations Key Responsibilities: - Lead end-to-end manufacturing and plant operations across multiple locations with complete P&L ownership - Oversee execution of large and complex industrial projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery - Drive operational excellence through digitization, automation, lean manufacturing, and cost optimization - Ensure compliance with Audit, Legal, Safety, Health & Environment standards across all units - Strengthen and manage Industrial Relations (IR) and stakeholder engagement with government agencies - Manage production strategy, planning, procurement, and resource allocation - Drive statutory compliance, regulatory approvals, and government liaison - Develop long-term strategies for modernization, expansion, and capability building - Lead CapEx planning, new projects, expansions, modernization & greenfield/brownfield setups - Build and groom strong plant leadership teams across all units Candidate Profile: - Senior manufacturing leader with strong P&L ownership and end-to-end operations leadership across large, multi-unit plants. - Proven track record in managing large teams, complex manufacturing processes, and high-scale operations. - Expertise in cost optimization, process excellence, transformation initiatives, kiln operations, quality, project execution, statutory compliance, and multi-plant management. - Strong leadership, analytical capability, and cross-functional coordination with experience in reputed, structured, and competitive organizations.
