Lead Business Analyst - BFSI Domain

Position : Lead Business Analyst (BFSI) Overall/Total Experience : 6-9 years only Location : Hyderabad Working Days : 5 Days Working from Office (US Hours : 9.30 PM-6.30 AM IST) Notice Period Requirement : 30 Days (Maximum) Client's Company Size : Startup/Small Enterprise Team Leadership : Must be a Team Lead with People Management experience Roles & Responsibilities : - Lead a team of business analysts in our Hyderabad office - shaping solutions, setting the standard for delivery and turning complex business problems into clear outcomes. - Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Business Analysts - setting direction, reviewing work, and building capability across the team. - Own requirement gathering, analysis, and documentation for key initiatives, ensuring quality and consistency of BA deliverables. - Partner with senior stakeholders to translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and process flows. - Work closely with product, engineering, and delivery teams to bring solutions to life and remove blockers. - Define and drive BA best practices, standards, templates, and process improvements. - Oversee testing, validation, and stakeholder sign-off across workstreams. - Champion data-informed decision-making and clear, actionable communication. Candidate Requirements : - Must have 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, including team lead or people-management experience. - Must have proven ability to lead and mentor analysts and coordinate work across multiple stakeholders. - Must have owned requirement gathering, analysis, and documentation end-to-end for key initiatives, ensuring quality and consistency of BA deliverables. - Must have experience translating business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and process flows with senior stakeholders. - Must have experience defining and driving BA best practices, standards, templates, and process improvements. - Must have experience overseeing testing, validation, and stakeholder sign-off across workstreams. - Must have strong requirement-gathering, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills. - Must have excellent communication, analytical, and leadership abilities, with a data-informed decision-making approach. - Must have experience working with BFSI clients / delivering technology solutions for the BFSI sector. - Must be willing to work during EST hours (this is an EST-based project) - 9.30PM to 6.30AM IST. Preferred : Hands-on experience with Unqork or other low-code / no-code platforms
