GyanSys - SAP PP/QM Lead

About the Role : We are looking for an experienced SAP PP/QM Lead with strong hands-on expertise in SAP Production Planning (PP), Quality Management (QM), and SAP S/4HANA implementation/transformation projects. The ideal candidate should have strong functional knowledge of manufacturing processes, experience in complex SAP S/4HANA environments, and the ability to lead solution design, implementation, testing, integration, and deployment activities. The role requires strong understanding of PP/QM integration with other SAP modules and shop-floor/MES systems, along with experience in manufacturing master data migration. Key Responsibilities : SAP PP Production Planning : - Lead SAP PP solution design, implementation, and transformation initiatives. - Configure and support core SAP PP processes, including Production Planning, Production Orders, Bills of Materials (BOMs), Routings, Work Centers, Production Versions, Capacity Planning, Production Confirmations, and Goods Movements. - Analyze manufacturing business requirements and translate them into scalable SAP solutions. - Support end-to-end production planning and execution processes. SAP QM Quality Management : - Design and support SAP QM processes across manufacturing environments. - Strong experience with Inspection Plans, Inspection Lots, Quality Results, Usage Decisions, and Quality Notifications. - Ensure effective integration of quality processes with production and other business functions. - Support quality-related testing, issue resolution, and deployment activities. SAP PP/QM Integration : - Work on integration of SAP PP/QM with MM, SD, EWM/WM, CO/FI, and Product Costing. - Analyze cross-functional business processes and ensure seamless integration across SAP modules. - Coordinate with functional and technical teams for integration design and issue resolution. MES & Third-Party Integration : - Design and support integration between SAP PP/QM and MES/shop-floor systems. - Work with third-party applications using APIs, IDocs, middleware, and other integration mechanisms. - Analyze integration requirements and support end-to-end testing and deployment. Manufacturing Master Data Migration : - Lead/support migration of manufacturing master data during SAP implementations and transformations. - Experience with migration of Materials, BOMs, Routings, Work Centers, Production Versions, and QM Master Data. - Validate migrated data and ensure data quality and business readiness. Solution Design & Implementation : - Perform business process analysis and develop effective SAP PP/QM solutions. - Prepare functional specifications and solution documentation where required. - Lead testing activities, including integration and user acceptance testing. - Support defect resolution and deployment activities. - Work closely with business stakeholders, SAP teams, technical teams, and implementation partners. - Provide guidance during cutover, go-live, and post-production support. Mandatory Skills : - 10+ years of SAP PP/QM experience. - Strong hands-on SAP S/4HANA implementation/transformation experience. - Strong SAP PP and QM expertise. - Manufacturing domain experience. - Strong PP/QM integration experience with MM, SD, EWM/WM, CO/FI and Product Costing. - Experience integrating SAP PP/QM with MES/shop-floor systems. - Experience with APIs, IDocs, middleware, and third-party integrations. - Strong manufacturing master data migration experience. - Excellent solution design and business process analysis skills. - Strong testing and deployment experience. - Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
