Job Description
Role Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Global Procurement leader to spearhead our Professional Services category management. In this high-impact role, you will define and execute global sourcing strategies for complex service engagements, including consulting, legal, audit, and specialized advisory services. You will act as a strategic partner to C-suite stakeholders and business unit heads, ensuring that our external spend aligns with long-term business objectives while driving significant cost efficiencies. By managing high-value vendor relationships and complex contract lifecycles, you will directly influence the company's bottom line and operational agility, ensuring we partner with best-in-class service providers across our global footprint.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate and implement global category strategies for Professional Services to optimize spend and ensure alignment with organizational growth targets.
- Lead complex contract negotiations with global service providers to secure favorable commercial terms, mitigate risk, and ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Drive end-to-end strategic sourcing initiatives, from market analysis and RFP management to vendor selection, to ensure competitive advantage.
- Cultivate and manage long-term relationships with key vendors, conducting regular performance reviews to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Legal, Finance, and HR, to streamline procurement processes and ensure compliance with global procurement policies.
- Analyze spend data and market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and value-add initiatives that support business scalability.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrate mastery in strategic sourcing and category management, specifically within the Professional Services domain, with a proven track record of managing large-scale global spend.
- Exhibit exceptional negotiation and contract management skills, with the ability to navigate complex legal and commercial frameworks to protect business interests.
- Possess strong stakeholder management capabilities, with the ability to influence senior leadership and build consensus across diverse, global teams.
- Showcase advanced analytical and financial acumen, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for cost management and budget optimization.
- Maintain a proactive approach to supply chain risk management, ensuring business continuity through robust vendor governance and performance monitoring.
- Hold a Master's degree in Business Administration or a related field from a premier institute, reflecting a strong academic foundation.
- Adapt seamlessly to a hybrid work environment in Bangalore, demonstrating the ability to lead and collaborate effectively in a global, fast-paced corporate setting.
