Application Developer

Salary: £50,000 - 70,000 per year Requirements: • Hands-on experience developing data or analytic applications in Python using Streamlit, Dash, or a similar framework • Experience designing, testing, and maintaining user-facing applications, including the use of version control • Strong SQL skills and experience analysing and integrating data sets from multiple sources • Experience with Databricks or a similar modern data platform • Working experience with notebooks and Python data libraries and processing frameworks, such as Pandas and PySpark • Understanding of deployment, CI/CD, orchestration, and application support practices Responsibilities: • Design and build lightweight analytics applications on our data platform • Bring data together from multiple sources to enable business teams to explore, understand, and act on trusted insights • Work closely with Data Engineers, Analysts, and business stakeholders to translate user needs into intuitive applications • Develop reusable data products that improve how data is accessed, understood, and used across the organisation Technologies: • CI/CD • Databricks • Support • Python • PySpark • SQL • pandas More: We are looking for an Analytics Application Engineer to join our team on a 12-month contracting basis. This is a hybrid role based in Cambridge, with access to work from home and time in our state-of-the-art office. The role is offered on a daily pay rate through umbrella, with a competitive pay rate.
