MYP English Teacher

Job Summary: RBK International Academy is seeking a dedicated MYP English Teacher to deliver high-quality instruction in English Language and Literature within the International Baccalaureate (IB) framework. The role emphasizes student development across intellectual, personal, emotional, and social skills while fostering a love for literature and language. Key Responsibilities: • IB Framework Instruction: Operate within the MYP framework to develop students' academic, personal, and social skills • English Language & Literature Teaching: Teach reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills; focus on literature studies and analysis of diverse literary works • Curriculum Development: Design and deliver lessons aligned with the MYP English curriculum, integrating global contexts and interdisciplinary connections • Assessment & Feedback: Implement formative and summative assessments, monitor student progress, and provide constructive feedback • Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work with teachers from other subjects to create integrated learning experiences • Global Context Integration: Connect English studies to real-world issues and diverse cultural perspectives • ATL (Approaches to Learning) Skills: Incorporate critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and self-management into lessons • Service Learning: Facilitate service-learning projects that enable students to apply English skills in community-based activities Skills: Lesson Planning Experience: 3.00-5.00 Years
