Technical Writer

Our client is looking for a Technical Writer to join their team Roles and Responsibilities What You'll Be Doing • Create and maintain high-quality technical product documentation. • Collaborate closely with Developers, Product Owners, QA Teams, Business Analysts, and other stakeholders to gather information and understand product functionality. • Develop user guides, manuals, workflows, feature documentation, release notes, configuration guides, and knowledge-based articles. • Transform complex technical concepts into clear, concise, audience-appropriate content. • Review and improve existing documentation and content repositories. • Support software releases through accurate and up-to-date documentation. • Create and maintain information architecture and documentation standards. • Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate within cross-functional software development teams. What We're Looking For Essential Requirements • Previous experience as a Technical Writer, Documentation Specialist, Technical Author, Technical Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or related role within a software development environment. • Proven experience producing technical documentation for software products. • Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). • Experience working directly with Developers, Product Teams, QA Teams, and other technical stakeholders. • Exceptional written English communication skills. • Experience documenting software features, workflows, technical specifications, user guides, manuals, or knowledge bases. • Strong attention to detail and ability to quickly learn complex systems. Technical Skills Experience with some or all of the following: • Confluence • Jira • Notion • Visio • Lucid chart • Draw.io • Microsoft Office Suite • Agile / Scrum methodologies Exposure to SaaS, FinTech, Insurtech, Software Development, or Technology environments will be highly advantageous.
