Supports logistics processes, activities, and customers for all modes of transportation. What you will do: • Assisting in the development of process flows to track lead time by activity and identifying opportunities to reduce lead times. • Identifying opportunities for improvements including cost, quality, and service of customer needs and issues. • Implementing and maintaining monitoring systems to provide information on shipment status, shipped date, in transit location, estimated arrival date, and actual delivery date. • Generating and analyzing reports of transportation costs and carrier performance. Planning and tracking lead times including compliance with related regulations. What you have: Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment. Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors. Planning and Organizing: Knowledge of the process of planning and arranging tasks and resources; ability to plan and organize both time and resources to get things completed while structuring and maintaining work in a systematic and highly methodical way. Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations. Basic Requirements: • Education: Industrial Engineering or related field • Experience: 1 year in material procurement and supply chain • Knowledge: SAP / MRC • Language: Intermediate English • Availability to travel: No • Availability for shift rotation: No Additional Information: Location: Caterpillar Torreón ISE: No Sponsorship: No Relocation assistance: No Don’t forget to include your CV.
