Role Overview : We are looking for a meticulous and quality-driven SDET to join our engineering team in Gurugram. In this role, you will be the gatekeeper of our product quality, ensuring that every release meets our high standards of performance and reliability. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and cross-functional stakeholders to identify potential bottlenecks, execute rigorous test cycles, and advocate for the end-user experience. By bridging the gap between manual precision and automated efficiency, you will directly influence the stability of our platform and ensure a seamless experience for our growing user base. Key Responsibilities : - Design and execute comprehensive manual test cases to validate complex features, ensuring that all functional requirements are met before deployment. - Collaborate with the development team to troubleshoot bugs and perform root cause analysis, reducing the time-to-resolution for critical production issues. - Utilize Postman to perform thorough API testing, verifying data integrity and service communication to ensure robust backend performance. - Maintain and enhance existing Selenium scripts to automate repetitive manual tasks, allowing the team to focus on high-value exploratory testing. - Document detailed test reports and maintain clear communication with stakeholders regarding release readiness and potential risks. Required Skillset : - Demonstrated proficiency in manual testing methodologies, including test planning, execution, and defect tracking within an Agile environment. - Strong technical foundation in Java, with the ability to read and debug code to assist developers in identifying the source of failures. - Hands-on experience with Selenium for web automation and Postman for API validation, showcasing an ability to build scalable testing frameworks. - Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical team members. - Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative office environment in Gurugram, maintaining high attention to detail under tight release deadlines. - A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, reflecting a strong academic understanding of software development lifecycles.
