SAP VIM Consultant

SAP VIM Consultant - Finance / FICO Industry : IT Services & Consulting Department : Project & Program Management / SAP Role Category : Technology / IT Employment Type : Full Time, Temporary/Contractual Education : Any Graduate Job Summary : We are looking for an experienced SAP VIM Consultant with a strong Finance background to support SAP Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) implementation and integration initiatives. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in OpenText VIM along with a strong understanding of SAP Finance/FICO processes and prior experience working on SAP implementation projects. Key Responsibilities : - Design, configure, implement, and support SAP Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) solutions. - Work extensively with OpenText VIM and its integration with SAP ERP/SAP S/4HANA. - Analyse business requirements and translate them into effective VIM and SAP Finance solutions. - Configure VIM workflows, document processing, invoice validation, approval processes, and exception handling. - Work closely with Finance and Accounts teams to understand Accounts Payable and invoice processing requirements. - Integrate VIM processes with relevant SAP FICO functionalities and business processes. - Participate in end-to-end SAP VIM implementation projects, including requirement gathering, design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support. - Prepare functional specifications, process documentation, test scenarios, and user training materials. - Coordinate with technical teams for enhancements, interfaces, workflows, and system integrations. - Conduct unit testing, integration testing, UAT, defect resolution, and production support. - Troubleshoot VIM and Finance-related issues and provide effective solutions. - Work with business stakeholders and project teams to ensure successful project delivery within timelines. - Provide guidance on VIM best practices, process improvements, and automation opportunities. Required Skills & Experience : - Strong hands-on experience with SAP VIM / OpenText VIM. - Good understanding of SAP Finance / FICO processes. - Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable, Vendor Invoice Processing, and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes. - Proven experience in SAP implementation projects, preferably involving VIM. - Experience in VIM configuration, workflow, invoice processing, and exception management. - Understanding of integration between VIM and SAP FICO/MM modules. - Good analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
