Job Description

Interview Copilot AI builds a privacy-first desktop assistant that helps candidates perform at their best in live job interviews. The native macOS and Windows product provides clear, résumé-aware guidance in real time while working alongside the meeting tools candidates already use.

What you’ll own You will own the end-to-end product design of focused desktop workflows that must feel clear under pressure. You will shape overlays, onboarding, live guidance, and the design system that connects the experience. Key responsibilities

• Design desktop workflows for live interviews, overlays, onboarding, and conversation-aware guidance.

• Turn user problems into flows, wireframes, prototypes, and polished interaction design.

• Build and evolve a practical design system for consistent, accessible experiences.

• Plan and conduct lightweight user research, then translate findings into product decisions.

• Partner closely with engineering from early exploration through shipped details.

• Improve information hierarchy, empty states, errors, education, and trust throughout the product. Required skills

• Experience designing and shipping digital products.

• Strong interaction, visual, and information-design fundamentals.

• Confidence prototyping and explaining design decisions.

• Ability to simplify complex workflows and incorporate feedback.

• Clear communication and comfort working independently in a remote environment. Nice to have

• Desktop application or productivity-tool design.

• Overlays, real-time interfaces, or onboarding systems.

• Design systems and accessibility.
