Full Stack Developer

Role Summary We are seeking a Full Stack Developer with 1–2+ years of industry experience to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in developing and maintaining web applications, web portals, customisations, and working with web-portal templates. The candidate should have a good understanding of both front-end and back-end development technologies, databases, web servers, and modern development frameworks. The role requires strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, good UI/UX understanding, and the ability to work effectively within a team. Key Responsibilities 1. Full Stack Development • Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications and web portals. • Work on both front-end and back-end development activities. • Develop custom solutions based on business and technical requirements. • Work with existing web-portal templates and customise them as required. • Ensure applications are scalable, functional, and maintainable. 2. Front-End Development • Develop responsive and user-friendly web interfaces. • Work with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, and jQuery . • Work with JavaScript-based frameworks and libraries such as Angular and React . • Implement UI components based on functional and design requirements. • Ensure consistency in functionality and user experience across web applications. 3. Back-End Development • Develop and maintain server-side applications and APIs. • Work with back-end programming languages such as PHP and Python . • Work with JavaScript-based back-end technologies and frameworks such as Node.js . • Develop and integrate APIs and back-end services. • Troubleshoot and resolve application and server-side issues. 4. Database Management • Work with relational databases, primarily MySQL . • Develop and maintain database structures and queries. • Perform database-related troubleshooting and optimisation as required. • Ensure data integrity and efficient interaction between applications and databases. 5. Web Server & Application Support • Work with web servers, primarily Apache. • Support application deployment and configuration. • Troubleshoot web server and application-related issues. • Assist in maintaining the availability and performance of web applications. 6. Customisation & Integration • Develop customisations based on customer and business requirements. • Integrate front-end applications with back-end services and databases. • Work with existing applications and templates to implement required enhancements. • Understand technical requirements and translate them into functional solutions. 7. UI/UX Development • Develop clean, responsive, and user-friendly interfaces. • Apply good UI/UX design principles while developing web applications. • Pay close attention to usability, layout, functionality, and visual consistency. • Collaborate with relevant teams to improve the overall user experience. 8. Testing & Troubleshooting • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve application-related issues. • Perform functional testing and debugging of applications. • Identify and fix front-end and back-end development issues. • Ensure developed solutions meet functional and technical requirements. 9. Team Collaboration • Work closely with developers, technical teams, and other stakeholders. • Participate in discussions related to application development and technical requirements. • Collaborate with team members to deliver projects within expected timelines. • Share technical knowledge and contribute to continuous improvement. 10. Learning & Development • Stay updated with emerging web development technologies and frameworks. • Demonstrate willingness to learn new tools, languages, workflows, and development practices. • Explore and adopt relevant technologies to improve development efficiency and application quality. • Pursue relevant professional certifications and technical learning opportunities. Required Skills Ø Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or in a similar development role. Ø 1–2+ years of industry experience in full-stack/web development. Ø Experience developing web portals and custom web applications. Ø Experience working with web-portal templates and customisations. Ø Knowledge of multiple front-end technologies including: • HTML • CSS • JavaScript • XML • jQuery Ø Knowledge of back-end technologies including: • PHP • JavaScript frameworks Ø Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks such as: • Angular • React • Node.js Ø Familiarity with MySQL databases. Ø Familiarity with Apache web servers. Ø Good understanding of both front-end and back-end development. Ø Good UI/UX design skills. Ø Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. Ø Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ø Strong attention to detail. Desired Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should be a technically strong and hands-on Full Stack Developer with practical experience in developing and maintaining web applications and portals. The candidate should have a good understanding of both front-end and back-end technologies, with experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, Python, Angular, React, Node.js, MySQL, and Apache or equivalent technologies. The individual should have good UI/UX design capabilities, strong attention to detail, effective troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with technical teams.
