Receptionist/DA | Lumino New Lynn | Part Time

We are looking for a friendly, reliable and patient-focused Receptionist / Dental Assistant to join our team at Lumino New Lynn. This is a permanent part-time position, working Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with the opportunity to pick up additional hours and shifts when required. This is a varied role, providing the opportunity to work across both reception and dental assisting. We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, is organised and adaptable, and is happy to support the team wherever needed. As a Receptionist, you'll be an important part of creating a welcoming experience for our patients. You'll greet patients, manage appointments, answer phone calls and enquiries, process payments, and assist with the day-to-day administration of the practice. As a Dental Assistant, you'll support our clinicians during dental procedures and help ensure the clinical areas are prepared and maintained to a high standard. This may include chairside assisting, preparing treatment rooms, sterilisation, infection control and supporting the clinical team throughout the day. Previous Dental Assisting experience is an advantage, but it is not essential. If you have reception or customer service experience and are interested in learning Dental Assisting, we are happy to consider someone who is keen to develop their skills. Permanent Part-Time Hours • Tuesday: 8:00am – 2:00pm • Wednesday: 8:00am – 5:00pm Additional Hours There may be opportunities to pick up additional shifts and hours to cover team members' annual leave, sickness and other roster gaps as required. This means you can enjoy the consistency of regular part-time hours while having the flexibility to work additional shifts when available.
