Senior Manager - Talent Management (SM Level)
Location: Gurgaon NCR
Role Purpose:
The Senior Manager - Talent Management will be responsible for designing and driving the organization's talent strategy, including performance management, succession planning, leadership development, talent reviews, high-potential identification, employee engagement, and career development initiatives. The role will partner with business leaders to build a strong leadership pipeline and foster a high-performance culture aligned with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the organization's Talent Management framework aligned with business objectives.
- Drive talent philosophy, talent governance, and capability-building initiatives across the organization.
- Partner with leadership to identify current and future talent requirements.
- Lead the end-to-end Performance Management System (PMS) cycle.
- Drive goal setting, mid-year reviews, annual performance assessments, moderation, and calibration exercises.
- Ensure alignment between business goals, individual objectives, and reward outcomes.
- Enhance performance culture through continuous feedback and coaching mechanisms.
- Facilitate talent review discussions with business leaders.
- Build and maintain succession plans for critical and leadership roles.
- Identify high-potential employees and create development roadmaps.
- Monitor talent risks and readiness levels across key positions.
- Design and implement leadership development frameworks and interventions.
- Manage leadership assessment centers, development centers, and executive coaching initiatives.
- Create leadership capability programs for emerging, mid-level, and senior leaders.
- Track effectiveness of leadership development investments.
- Partner with the Learning & Development team to address capability gaps.
- Establish career paths, competency frameworks, and development journeys.
- Drive Individual Development Plans (IDPs) and talent acceleration programs.
- Support internal mobility and career progression initiatives.
- Analyze employee engagement insights and develop action plans.
- Drive initiatives focused on retention of critical and high-performing talent.
- Support culture-building and employee experience programs.
- Monitor talent-related KPIs and engagement trends.
- Develop talent dashboards and provide insights to leadership. Track metrics including: Talent Bench Strength, Succession Coverage, Internal Mobility, Leadership Readiness, Performance Distribution, Employee Engagement Scores.
- Present talent insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Partner with Business Heads and HR Business Partners to drive talent outcomes.
- Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on people and talent matters.
- Influence organizational decisions through talent data and insights.
Qualifications & Exp:
- Full time MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or related discipline from a reputed institute.
- Certification in Talent Management, Organizational Development, Leadership Development, or Assessment Tools preferred.
- 8-12 years of progressive HR experience with significant exposure to Talent Management, Performance Management, Succession Planning, and Leadership Development. IC role.
- Experience in Housing Finance, NBFC, Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, or Retail Lending sectors preferred.
- Proven experience in building and scaling talent frameworks within a growing organization, have worked on Success Factor.
