Job Description
Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage the organization's budgets, ensuring alignment with strategic goals. Conduct financial forecasting to provide insights into future financial performance. Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage the organization's cash flow to ensure liquidity and efficient use of funds. Implement strategies to optimize working capital and minimize financial risks.
Risk Management: Identify and assess financial risks, proposing and implementing strategies to mitigate them. Stay informed about economic trends, market conditions, and industry developments affecting the organization.
Strategic Planning: Collaborate with other departments to align financial strategies with overall business objectives. Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data and performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Present financial analysis to key stakeholders, helping them make informed decisions.
Compliance and Audit: Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting principles, and internal policies. Facilitate external audits and address any audit findings or recommendations.
Investment Analysis: Evaluate potential investments and financial projects, providing recommendations based on risk and return analysis. Manage the organization's investment portfolio, if applicable.
Financial Policies and Procedures: Develop and update financial policies and procedures to maintain internal controls and governance. Train and educate staff on financial policies and procedures. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor finance teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
