Job Description

We are a cohesive, dynamic and growing team in NUH serving the tripartite mission of clinical care, education and research within the academic health system.

We are seeking a strong candidate to fill a full-time position at NUH Child Development Unit, where we see children under 7 years old with developmental, learning and behavioural concerns.

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team that is committed to provide holistic care for children and their families based on a family-centred and community-based approach. The ideal candidate should have a passion for serving in the public sector to meet the healthcare needs of residents in Singapore.

He/she should enjoy collaborative working as part of a multidisciplinary team in delivering patient-centred care and be driven to support or lead clinical and quality improvement initiatives.

He/she should also be motivated to learn and grow personally, as well as to contribute to the growth of others and the team as whole.

Job Responsibilities

Assess and manage patients referred for speech therapy and implement appropriate treatment plans Plan and run group therapy programs with allied health team members Deliver caregiver education through individual coaching and workshops Comply with clinical and service standards Practice within areas of professional competence and seek clinical support from supervisor/ other healthcare professionals where appropriate Participate in clinical education programs for Speech Therapy students Contribute to related clinical research projects Requirements Recognized Degree in Speech Therapy and eligible for full registration with the Allied Health Professions Council Strong communication and interpersonal skills Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills Patient-centredness Positive and collaborative team member Competent in IT (Microsoft Excel / Word / Powerpoint) Experience in Paediatrics will be an added advantage
