The Position Strategy & Business Development Manager Job Summary JOB SUMMARY / PURPOSE: Target external growth opportunities and define strategic priorities ensuring optimal use of assets, develop a coordinated approach to Business Area stakeholders, and drive both organic and inorganic growth. KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Business Development & M&A • Manage the M&A pipeline for the Performance Minerals EMEA & APAC Business Area. • Coordinate key M&A projects for the Business Area in liaison with the central Imerys M&A and Strategy teams. • Prepare business cases (topline, synergies, EV) and assist in transaction execution such as Due Diligence and Closing. • Strategy & Project Management • Lead and participate in key strategic projects from end to end, covering areas like industrial footprint, organic growth, and transversal product management. • Consolidate and contribute to strategic plans for the business area. • Source, analyze, and challenge information inside and outside the organization to select and provide recommendations. • Prepare and present strategic analyses and compelling business cases to senior management for decision-making. KEY COMPETENCIES: • Strong quantitative, analytical, and financial capabilities. • Excellent teamwork skills with a strong business sense and the ability to interact effectively with people from all backgrounds and levels. • A hands-on, result-oriented strategic mind with good interpersonal skills. • The ability to positively influence others without having direct reporting lines. • End-to-end project management mastery, with a demonstrated ability to scope, architect, and deploy large-scale operational projects. • Proficiency in presentation tools like Powerpoint/GSlides. • Exceptional communication skills, with a proven ability to synthesize complex data into high-impact presentations for senior executive audiences. JOB SPECIFICATIONS: • Engineering degree or Business School education. • 3 to 5 years of experience in Business Development, M&A, transaction services, financial/commercial analysis, or consulting. • Alternatively, 4 to 7 years of experience in strategy, marketing, or product management, ideally in a relevant industry. • Prior experience in the mining industry is considered a plus. • Full professional proficiency in English is required; French language skills are a plus.
