Job Description

Work with us! Fancy working for one of the fastest-growing lifestyle brands in Australia? We’re The Somewhere Co. A brand for the bold, the bright, certainly not wallflowers. We craft products that make a statement for a community that feels like the ultimate group chat; everyone’s invited. From prints that pop to pieces that spark joy, everything we do is designed to turn the everyday into something worth showing up for. We’re here for the colour lovers, the gift givers, the go-getters, and anyone who lives life a little louder. About the Role The Somewhere Co. is growing — and we’re looking for a commercially minded, relationship-driven Global Key Account Manager to help take our wholesale and corporate partnerships to the next level. This is a genuinely global role, working across Australia, New Zealand, the UK/Europe, North America and Asia , where you’ll be responsible for growing our existing key accounts while identifying and winning new opportunities across international markets. If you love building relationships, spotting commercial opportunities and turning great partnerships into serious revenue, we want to hear from you. Reporting to our Global Growth & Licensing Director , you’ll own and grow a portfolio of key wholesale and corporate accounts across our global markets. You’ll be equal parts relationship builder, commercial thinker and opportunity hunter — developing account strategies, growing revenue, finding new customers and making sure our biggest partners receive an exceptional experience. No two days will look exactly the same. One day you might be presenting a new corporate partnership, the next you could be working with Marketing on an EDM campaign, jumping on a call with an international client or attending a trade show to build the next big relationship. What You’ll Be Doing ·Develop and execute account plans for key global wholesale and corporate partners. ·Drive revenue growth and exceed monthly targets across your portfolio. ·Build strong, long-term relationships with key customers across Australia and international markets. ·Identify, prospect and secure new wholesale and corporate accounts. ·Manage the sales pipeline from lead generation through to conversion and ongoing account growth. ·Develop and present creative corporate partnership opportunities and close new business. ·Work closely with Marketing, Supply, Operations, Finance and Warehouse teams to deliver seamless customer experiences. ·Identify opportunities for EDMs, campaigns and other sales initiatives to support account growth. ·Improve and streamline wholesale sales processes and systems. ·Manage key account setup requirements, including EDI integrations and product information documentation. ·Ensure billing and invoicing is completed and followed up promptly. ·Use LinkedIn and other channels to proactively identify and connect with potential customers. ·Stay across lifestyle product trends, market opportunities and changes in the global retail landscape. ·Attend domestic and international trade shows, events and off-site meetings to develop and manage key relationships. ·Provide regular reporting and insights on pipeline, performance, opportunities and learnings. ·Collaborate with the Speciality Coordinator to support and maintain the Speciality channel. ·Work flexibly across different time zones to support our growing international customer base. About You You’re a confident and commercially savvy account manager who genuinely enjoys winning business and building relationships. You’ll ideally bring: ·Proven experience in key account management, wholesale, B2B or corporate sales. ·A strong commercial mindset and a track record of achieving — and preferably exceeding — revenue targets. ·Experience managing a sales pipeline and converting new business opportunities. ·Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills. ·Confidence presenting ideas, negotiating and closing deals. ·Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities. ·A proactive approach — you don’t wait for opportunities to land in your inbox; you go looking for them. ·Excellent written and verbal communication skills. ·Strong attention to detail, particularly around account setup, systems and invoicing. ·Confidence working independently while collaborating closely with internal teams. ·A genuine interest in lifestyle, retail, product and consumer trends. ·The flexibility to work across different time zones and travel domestically and internationally when required. ·A creative, curious and nimble approach to problem solving. ·Experience with international wholesale, corporate gifting, EDI, retail buying or lifestyle brands will be highly regarded. Why Join Us You’ll be joining a fast-growing Australian brand with big global ambitions, where you’ll have the opportunity to make a real commercial impact . You’ll work alongside a passionate, creative team, build relationships with customers around the world and play a key role in shaping the next stage of our global growth. If you’re commercially hungry, relationship obsessed and ready to help take a colourful Australian brand to the world, we’d love to hear from you. Ready to make your mark? Apply now and tell us why you’re the person to help grow The Somewhere Co. globally!
