Well established insolvency and restructuring firm is recruiting an experienced Insolvency Accountant to join their team as a Supervisor or Manager. • CBD location with hybrid work arrangement • Above-market salary on offer plus other incentives • Well established practice with offices across Australia The Company Curtis Partnership have partnered with a well-established insolvency firm based in the CBD. The firm offers a broad range of solutions for underperforming businesses and their partners comprise of experienced Liquidators and Trustees who are well regarded in the industry. Due to anticipated work in the pipeline they are recruiting an Insolvency Accountant with 4+ years experience to join the team as Supervisor or Manager (depending on experience). The Role They are looking for a career minded Accountant to join their team. Duties include: • day to day file management of insolvency appointments (CVLs, court liquidations, VAs, receiverships, SBRs, bankruptcy etc) • day to day management of workflow and junior staff members • attending sites to inspect, collect and record assets, as well as books and records • liaising with directors, employees, creditors and other stakeholders (financiers, valuers, auctioneers, lawyers, ATO etc) • collection and investigation into company books & records • manage sale of assets and/or sale of business as a going concern • manage ongoing trading of business • investigations into insolvent trading, voidable transactions and offences committed by officers • preparation of s533 report and other statutory reports to ASIC Skills and Experience • 4+ years insolvency accounting experience • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, law or related • Completed or nearing completion of the CA, CPA and/or ARITA professional course Benefits Study support (CA, CPA and ARITA) and staff training for continuing professional development.
