Junior Import and Data Analyst

Reference: CPT005826-Meg-1 Are you organised, analytical, and confident in ensuring that your numerical work is always accurate? Our client, a luxury company based in Montague Gardens, is looking for an Import & Data Analyst who will assist with overseas orders, supplier communication, shipment tracking and import documentation, while also supporting stock administration and reporting. This is a dynamic and driven team where training will be provided on all systems and processes.Duties & Responsibilities REQUIREMENTS • Matric, or related qualification • 1–3 years' relevant work experience • Good Excel skills and confidence working with numbers • Strong attention to detail and accuracy • Highly organised with good follow-up skills • Good communication skills • Proactive, reliable and willing to learn • An interest in imports, logistics, purchasing or data analysis • Experience with Pastel/Sage, ERP systems, imports, logistics, stock control, Power BI or advanced Excel will be beneficial, but is not essential DUTIES • Assist with overseas purchase orders and supplier communication • Track international shipments and expected arrival dates • Maintain import and purchasing records • Check supplier invoices, packing lists and related documentation • Assist with stock and purchasing administration • Prepare sales, stock and product reports • Analyse sales and inventory data using Excel • Identify slow-moving stock, low-stock items and sales trends • Assist management with reporting and data analysis • Maintain accurate product, supplier and customer information Salary: negotiable dependent on experience Join us on SOCIAL MEDIA or visit our WEBSITE for more information.
