Group Reporting & Data Analyst

Our client is seeking an Intermediate Group Reporting & Data Analyst to join their team in Cape Town. This is an exciting opportunity for an analytical professional who enjoys transforming complex business data into meaningful reporting solutions while driving automation and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities • Work closely with Finance, IT and business stakeholders to gather and document reporting requirements. • Analyse existing reporting processes and identify automation opportunities. • Develop, test and enhance dashboards, reports and management information. • Clean, validate, reconcile and transform data from SQL databases, Syspro, Excel and other business systems. • Support the migration of reporting processes from Excel and QlikView to a centralised reporting platform. • Ensure reporting accuracy through data validation and reconciliation controls. • Maintain reporting documentation, calculations and data standards. • Provide ongoing support and enhancements to reporting solutions. Requirements • Intermediate-level experience in a reporting, BI or data analysis role. • Strong SQL, Python and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. • Experience with Power BI, Looker Studio, QlikView or similar BI tools. • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with excellent attention to detail. • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Experience with ERP or financial reporting systems is advantageous. • Syspro experience will be beneficial.
