JOB DETAILS: POSITION TITLE: Senior Business Analyst cum Project Manager - Technology REPORTING TO: Group CIO (GCIO) DEPARTMENT: Technology / IT LOCATION: Mumbai GROWTH PATH: Senior BA - PMO TEAM SIZE: Individual contributor role (1 team member) 2. JOB ROLE: We are seeking an experienced and execution-focused Business Analyst cum Project Manager to support technology-led transformation initiatives across the Group, partnering closely with Project Managers and Solution Architects to translate business requirements into functional specifications across SAP, CRM and HRMS platforms. This role will serve as a key link between business stakeholders and IT delivery teams, ensuring that requirements are accurately captured, feasible, and aligned to standard platform capabilities. The incumbent will work closely with the Group CIO, Project Managers, Solution Architects, and business heads to enable timely, well-documented, and user-validated technology delivery. While the role is not expected to define IT or business strategy, it requires strong analytical thinking and stakeholder management skills to interpret business needs, flag risks and gaps, and support successful solution delivery. This is a hands-on, execution-heavy role, with direct ownership of documentation and delivery-support outputs. The role will be accountable for: - Gathering, documenting and translating business requirements into functional specifications across SAP, CRM & HRMS platforms - Scoping user stories, RACI and acceptance criteria in coordination with the Project Manager & Solution Architect - Conducting fit-gap analysis between business processes and standard platform capabilities - Preparing BRDs, FRDs, process flow diagrams and functional design documents - Supporting UAT planning, test case design and issue triaging with end users 3. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS: CERTIFICATION: Must possess at least one of CBAP / CCBA, Agile / Scrum, or Six Sigma certification, and be willing to work towards the others. EXPERIENCE: - Around 10 years of experience working as a Business Analyst on SAP, CRM, HRMS or similar COTS platforms - Exposure to projects sized more than INR 2 crores in value and at least 6 months in duration - Excellent communication, documentation and stakeholder management skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Visio etc.) SKILL SETS: - Translate business requirements into functional & technical specifications - Conduct fit-gap analysis against standard platform capabilities - Facilitate requirement workshops with business & IT stakeholders - Leverage the MoSCoW method or Eisenhower Matrix for requirement prioritisation - Strong analytical mindset with keen attention to detail - Good learner & team player 4. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Support the Project Manager & Solution Architect in: Requirements Gathering & Documentation: - Gather, document and translate business requirements into functional specifications across SAP, CRM & HRMS platforms - Prepare BRDs, FRDs, process flow diagrams and functional design documents - Scope user stories, RACI and acceptance criteria in coordination with the Project Manager & Solution Architect Fit-Gap Analysis & Solution Design Support: - Conduct fit-gap analysis between business processes and standard platform capabilities (SAP, CRM etc.) - Highlight gaps, risks and configuration/customisation implications to the Project Manager & Solution Architect Stakeholder Management & Facilitation: - Facilitate requirement workshops with business & IT stakeholders - Prioritise requirements using the MoSCoW method or Eisenhower Matrix - Maintain clear, timely communication and documentation across business and IT teams UAT & Testing Support: - Support UAT planning and test case design - Triage issues raised by end users during UAT and coordinate resolution with IT teams Project Coordination & Governance: - Track deliverables and timelines in coordination with the Project Manager - Ensure documentation, sign-offs and acceptance criteria are maintained to a consistent standard across projects
