Senior Graphic Designer

Introduction Our client is looking for an innovative and creative Lead Designer to play a role in the creative conceptualising of designs and illustrations and bring them to life, within their Creative Team. Duties & Responsibilities What you’ll get the opportunity to do: • First, watching your designs and illustrations make a real impact on people’s lives. • To work with a wonderfully diverse and talented Creative team to come up with next level innovative ideas. • Bringing the brief and concept to life based on the vision, from conception to delivery. • Designing original pieces, including illustrations, infographics, packaging, branding, and presentations. • Upskilling, guiding, coaching Junior to Mid-level designers. • Working, collaborating and communicating with external departments to extend concept and visuals to other internal and external marketing-related materials. • Making sure artwork is correct and supplied in the right format/sizes/colour codes before being sent to press and production facilities. • Technical sign-off on catalogue, including layout, colour, size, and format specifications before being sent to press. • Generate ideas to portray concepts and advertise products/services. • Increase user friendliness in digital products. • Maintain brand consistency throughout all our marketing projects. • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and tools and research-driven to learn new and better ways and ensure relevancy of all design initiatives. Desired Experience & Qualification Experience & Qualifications: • Graphic Design Degree or similar qualification. • 9 or more years in a Senior or Lead designer role. • Experience with Catalogue and Layout designs. • In-depth knowledge of graphic design, styles and layout techniques. • Able to manage own projects efficiently. • Hands-on experience (Proficient) with image editing software, that is Photoshop, In-design and Adobe Illustrator. • Portfolio of completed design projects to be attached. Skills Skills: • Attention to detail, both functional and aesthetic. • Functional under pressure and maintains a positive attitude. • Strong aesthetic skills with the ability to combine various colours, fonts and layouts. • Holds yourself accountable. • Ability to meet deadlines and collaborate with a team. • Is highly organised, with excellent interpersonal skills. • Creative, adaptable to trends and conceptualise original ideas.
