PKF Tamworth - Senior Accountant (Audit)

We currently have a Senior Auditor position available with our client, PKF Tamworth. This role offers a unique opportunity to be a team member based in India. Role Overview We're looking for an Audit Senior to lead audit engagements for a varied client base, including corporates, not-for-profits and privately owned businesses. As part of our Team, you will undertake a variety of work for Audit & Assurance clients and provide them with excellent care and support, while working in a team focused on achieving the Firm's objectives and exceeding expectations. Key Responsibilities • Supervise and mentor junior staff, review their work and provide constructive feedback. • Prepare and review audit documentation, working papers and financial statement schedules. • Identify and assess audit risks, design and perform appropriate audit procedures. • Ensure compliance with professional standards, firm policies and independence requirements. • Communicate audit findings and recommendations to client engagement partners. • Financial Statements preparation in CaseWare. • Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist with training and knowledge sharing. • Help with time budgeting and timely completion of engagements. • Ability to work independently About You • CA / CPA qualified or close to completion. • Experience with Caseware is mandatory • Experience working with a varied client portfolio with direct client liaison. • 5+ years relevant experience in audit. • Tech savvy with a working knowledge of different accounting software • High level of integrity and a team player. • High level of problem-solving and analytical abilities. • Superb written and verbal communication skills.
