Do you love animals and enjoy helping people? We're looking for a friendly, organised, and customer-focused Client Care Coordinator to join our veterinary team. As the first point of contact for our clients and their pets, you'll play a vital role in creating a welcoming clinic environment while ensuring our reception area operates smoothly and efficiently. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, loves working with people, and has a passion for animal wellbeing. About the role: Located in our popular Pitama Rd clinic, this is a permanent, part-time position, offering 21.5 hours per week, working Mondays to Thursdays, with the occasional Saturday. You'll work three morning shifts, opening the clinic, and one full day, finishing at 6pm. As a Client Care Coordinator, you'll be responsible for a variety of reception, administration, and customer service duties, including: • Welcoming clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism • Managing appointments, admissions, and patient discharges • Answering phone calls and responding to client enquiries • Maintaining accurate client and patient records • Processing invoices, payments, banking, and general administrative tasks • Supporting veterinarians and veterinary nurses with client communication • Providing animal care information and guidance in line with clinic procedures • Managing reminders, surveys, microchip documentation, and other practice initiatives • Maintaining reception and office supplies and ensuring a tidy, professional clinic environment • Handling customer concerns with empathy and professionalism About You: We're looking for someone who has: • Previous customer service experience • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail • The ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure • A positive team-focused attitude • Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic • Confidence working independently and proactively solving problems • A genuine love of animals and commitment to outstanding client care What we Offer: • The opportunity to work alongside a passionate veterinary team • A supportive and collaborative workplace culture • Ongoing learning and development opportunities • Meaningful work helping pets and the people who love them • Paid pet bereavement leave, Sick leave from day one, Paid parental leave • A workplace that values passion, authenticity, caring, knowledge, and togetherness Apply Today: If you're passionate about animals, enjoy delivering exceptional customer service, and want to be part of a team dedicated to pet health and wellbeing, we'd love to hear from you.
