IT Project Management Specialist II

Description We are seeking a high-impact Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of modern, web-based digital solutions within our Digital Technology organization . This role is critical to orchestrating cross-functional, globally distributed teams and ensuring successful execution across multiple Agile teams within a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment. You will drive delivery for initiatives spanning eCommerce, middleware integrations, ERP, CRM, and product data platforms , leveraging strong expertise in Atlassian Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Project to enable transparency, collaboration, and structured delivery execution. JOB DUTIES: • Lead end-to-end program and project execution within a SAFe framework, coordinating multiple Agile teams across Program Increments (PIs) • Drive planning and execution activities including PI Planning, sprint coordination, backlog alignment, and release management • Help lead and facilitate Scrum of Scrums ceremonies to ensure effective cross-team coordination and alignment • Conduct regular pulse-checks to identify roadblocks • Proactively manage and resolve cross-team dependencies • Ensure smooth integration of deliverables across squads toward shared product goals • Utilize Atlassian Jira for backlog tracking, sprint execution, reporting, and metrics visibility • Leverage Confluence for documentation, knowledge sharing, and program transparency • Utilize Microsoft Project for high-level planning, timeline management, and executive reporting where required • Manage and align cross-functional teams including: • Shopify Web Developers • Shopify Custom App Developers • Middleware Engineers (Informatica, SAP CPI) • React Developers • Quality Assurance Teams • SAP ERP Developers • Salesforce (SFDC) Developers • Product Information Management (PIM) Data Stewards and Developers • Ensure delivery of high-quality digital products that meet business objectives, timelines, and budgets • Track and communicate progress, risks, dependencies, and milestones to stakeholders and leadership • Prepare and deliver weekly status reports to senior and executive leadership , clearly articulating project health, key risks, mitigation plans, and dependencies • Facilitate collaboration across geographically dispersed teams • Identify and remove delivery impediments while continuously improving team performance • Partner with Product Owners, Architects, and Business Stakeholders to translate strategy into execution • Drive metrics-based reporting and dashboards using Jira and align with structured reporting outputs from Microsoft Project YOU MUST HAVE: • 4+ years of project/program management experience in IT or Digital Technology • Strong hands-on experience with: • Atlassian Jira (advanced workflows, dashboards, reporting) • Confluence (documentation, collaboration, knowledge management) • Microsoft Project (planning, tracking, and executive-level reporting) • Proven ability to manage and communicate project status across multiple tools and reporting structures • Proven ability to communicate complex project status, risks, and mitigation strategies to executive stakeholders • Demonstrated experience facilitating Scrum of Scrums or multi-team Agile coordination in a SAFe environment • Hands-on experience working in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment • Proven experience managing multi-domain, cross-functional digital programs • Experience working with globally distributed teams • Strong understanding of modern web technologies and enterprise system integrations • Excellent English Communication Skills WE VALUE: • Familiarity with middleware and integration platforms (Informatica, SAP CPI) • Understanding of React or modern front-end frameworks • Knowledge of QA processes, automation testing, and CI/CD pipelines • Exceptional ability to influence and inform executive leadership • Strong facilitation and coordination skills across multiple Agile teams and domains • Ability to synthesize inputs from Jira and Microsoft Project into clear executive-level insights • Ability to simplify complex technical topics into actionable business updates • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment • Strong organizational and prioritization skills with a data-driven mindset • Demonstrated ability to lead without authority across complex enterprise environments • SAFe Agilist (SA), SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), or equivalent certification • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI-ACP, or PMP WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU? • Benefits that go beyond Mexican labor law, ensuring your well-being and peace of mind. • A collaborative and inclusive work environment where your contributions are valued. • Opportunities for continuous professional growth and skill development through training, mentoring, and challenging projects. • Access to cutting-edge tools, resources, and a supportive team to help you excel. • The chance to work with a global, innovative company shaping the future in its industry. #LI-MV1 #LI-HYBRID
