Company: 10decoders Website: Visit Website LinkedIn: Visit LinkedIn Business Type: Startup Company Type: Service Business Model: B2B Funding Stage: Pre-seed Industry: Information Technology Job Description Senior Business Analyst – HIS/EMR Implementation Experience: 8–10 years overall, with 4–5+ years in Healthcare IT / HIS / EMR implementation Domain: Hospital / Healthcare IT We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to bridge the gap between clinical/operational stakeholders and technology teams during HIS/EMR implementations. The role involves requirement gathering, workflow analysis, fit-gap analysis, process improvement, documentation, testing, stakeholder management, and go-live support. Key Responsibilities • Lead requirement-gathering sessions with clinicians, nurses, administrators, finance, and operational teams. • Analyze current and future-state hospital workflows and conduct fit-gap analysis. • Prepare BRD, FRD, user stories, process maps, use cases, and functional documentation. • Map workflows covering patient registration, appointments, admissions, discharge, clinical documentation, billing, pharmacy, laboratory, radiology, and medication management. • Coordinate with business users, IT teams, vendors, and project teams. • Facilitate workshops, requirement validation, and stakeholder sign-offs. • Support solution design, configuration review, master data, forms, business rules, and reporting requirements. • Prepare and review SIT/UAT test scenarios, test scripts, and acceptance criteria. • Support defect triage, go-live readiness, user training, and post-go-live stabilization. • Support process improvement, change management, SOP updates, and user adoption. Required Skills • 8–10 years of Business Analysis experience. • 4–5+ years of Healthcare IT / HIS / EMR implementation experience. • Strong understanding of hospital clinical and administrative workflows. • Excellent requirement gathering and stakeholder management skills. • Strong experience in BRD/FRD, process mapping, user stories, and workflow documentation. • Experience with SIT, UAT, defect management, and solution validation. • Knowledge of healthcare interoperability, reporting, and data migration is desirable. • Tools: JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint. Preferred • Enterprise HIS/EMR implementation experience. • Multi-specialty hospital exposure. • Knowledge of healthcare regulatory, accreditation, and privacy requirements. • CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, or Health Informatics certification. Ideal Candidate A strong candidate should have hands-on HIS/EMR implementation experience , understand hospital workflows, and be capable of independently handling requirements, stakeholders, testing, documentation, and go-live activities.
