Virtusa - Senior/Lead Java Full Stack Developer

Job Summary : We are looking for an experienced Java Full Stack Developer with 6+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and React. Experience with AWS cloud services will be an added advantage. Key Responsibilities : - Architect and develop end-to-end web applications using Java, Spring Boot, and React.js to ensure seamless integration between front-end interfaces and back-end services. - Design and implement microservices-based architectures that improve system modularity, scalability, and maintainability for enterprise-level platforms. - Deploy and manage cloud-native applications on AWS, ensuring high availability, fault tolerance, and optimized resource utilization. - Lead code reviews and mentor junior developers to maintain high standards of code quality, security, and performance across the development lifecycle. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot complex technical issues and optimize system performance to meet stringent business SLAs. Required Skills : - 6+ years of experience in Java application development. - Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8/11/17 or later). - Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Spring Framework. - Solid experience in developing Microservices and REST APIs. - Strong knowledge of React and modern JavaScript (ES6+). - Good understanding of relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL. - Experience with Git and version control systems. - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies. - Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
