Business Developer (Recruitment / Staffing) Location: Remote – India About the Role We are looking for a Business Developer with expertise in recruitment and staffing to identify new opportunities, acquire clients, and grow our presence across global markets. This role will focus on identifying and building relationships with companies that have ongoing or upcoming hiring needs, understanding their recruitment requirements, and converting those opportunities into long-term client partnerships. You will work closely with the recruitment team to understand our capabilities, present relevant hiring solutions, and contribute to building strong, lasting client relationships. Key Responsibilities Business Development • Identify and target potential clients across key global markets, including the USA, UK, Europe, UAE, and India. • Generate new business through LinkedIn, email outreach, calls, networking, referrals, and other channels. • Research target companies and connect with founders, HR leaders, Talent Acquisition teams, and hiring managers. • Understand client hiring needs and present suitable recruitment solutions. • Manage the sales pipeline from initial outreach through to closing new recruitment mandates. • Meet agreed business development, lead generation, and revenue targets. Client Relationship Management • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients throughout the recruitment engagement. Serve as a key client contact alongside the Talent Delivery Manager, ensuring clear communication and alignment on hiring requirements. • Participate in client meetings, provide updates, gather feedback, and address concerns throughout the recruitment process. • Identify opportunities for repeat business, additional hiring, and long-term client partnerships. Delivery & Internal Collaboration • Work closely with the Talent Delivery Manager and recruitment team to ensure client requirements are clearly understood and effectively delivered. • Keep the delivery team informed of client expectations, priorities, feedback, and changes in requirements. • Support a smooth client experience from initial engagement through to successful placement. Pipeline & Market Development • Maintain accurate records of prospects, opportunities, and client activity in the relevant CRM or tracking system. • Stay informed about recruitment and hiring trends across target markets. • Develop a strong pipeline and continuously identify new opportunities for business growth. Candidate Profile • 2+ years of experience in recruitment business development, recruitment sales, staffing sales, or a similar B2B sales role. • Experience selling recruitment or staffing services to businesses. • Strong understanding of the recruitment lifecycle and how recruitment agencies and staffing firms operate. • Experience working with clients or prospects in international markets, particularly the USA, UK, Europe, UAE, or India. • Strong prospecting and lead-generation skills. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities. • Comfortable communicating with senior decision-makers, HR professionals, and hiring managers. • Commercially driven, with a strong focus on winning new business and developing client relationships. • Strong follow-up, organisation, and pipeline management skills. • Ability to work independently in a remote environment. • Proficiency with LinkedIn, CRM systems, email outreach, and other business development tools. Desirable Experience • An existing network of HR leaders, founders, hiring managers, or businesses across international markets. • Experience selling contingency recruitment, retained search, contract staffing, or talent solutions. • Experience managing client relationships throughout the recruitment lifecycle. • Experience working with international clients. • A proven track record of meeting or exceeding business development or revenue targets.
