Residential HVAC Estimator

My client is a top notch Mechanical Contractor who is looking for an HVAC Residential Estimator to get involved with new homes and multi-family developments. Minimum of five (5) years’ proven experience as an HVAC and plumbing estimator, preferably within the new home construction industry. Ability to plan, organize, coordinate and motivated with strong time management, analytical and follow through skills. Strong knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems, installation processes, and industry standards. Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications. Strong attention to detail and the ability to prepare precise, accurate estimates. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with a variety of stakeholders. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with estimating software and tools (e.g., Buildertrend, ProEst, Quickpen, Manual J, or similar software). Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Word, etc.) and/or other relevant software programs.
