FULL STACK DEVELOPER - AI & EMERGING TECHNOLOGY

12th August, 2026 Expertech is partnering with an innovative organisation building next-generation technology and AI capability into its core operations. We're looking for a Full Stack Developer to join a growing R&D team and build practical applications that bring AI, data and emerging technologies to life. This is a hands-on development role where you'll own features end-to-end, from React interfaces through to Node.js/TypeScript services and APIs. You'll work closely with end users to understand real-world workflows and turn emerging technology into tools that genuinely improve how people work.What makes this role particularly interesting is the opportunity to work directly in the AI layer . You'll integrate and work with generative and machine-learning models, build inference and generation workflows, and develop applications that allow users to interact with these technologies in meaningful ways. You'll be joining an R&D environment where experimentation is encouraged, ideas are tested quickly, and successful prototypes are taken through to production. Essential Skills & Experience • Strong commercial experience developing full stack web applications • Excellent TypeScript and Node.js development skills • Strong React experience • Solid experience working with AWS • Practical experience integrating AI/ML or generative models into applications, including inference APIs, model serving or generation pipelines • Good understanding of API design and relational databases • Ability to take ownership of features from development through to production • Strong communication skills and a genuine interest in working with end users to understand how technology can improve their workflows Desirable Skills & Experience • VisionML / computer vision • Python , particularly within ML or data environments • ComfyUI , diffusion models or comparable generative AI tooling • Experience building or integrating AI agents, MCP or LLM applications • DevOps experience, including Docker, CI/CD and infrastructure • Infrastructure as Code (IaC/IaaS) • 3D, WebGL, Three.js or React Three Fiber • Experience working across Django environments • Experience with model evaluation, inference pipelines or generation workflows • Experience building technology for users working within fast-paced, deadline-driven environments Why apply? • Work at the intersection of Full Stack Development and AI | This isn't simply an application development role with a few AI APIs bolted on. • Build real products used by real people | you'll work directly with users, understand their workflows and see the impact of what you create. • Own your work end-to-end | from architecture and development through to deployment and iteration. • Genuine R&D environment | experiment with new technologies, test ideas and help determine what should move from prototype into production. • Work with emerging AI technologies including generative models, inference pipelines and AI-enabled applications. • International impact | the technology you build will support teams across multiple locations. • Modern engineering environment with cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, Docker and contemporary development practices. • High degree of ownership and autonomy within a collaborative and technically strong R&D team. • Be part of something being built , rather than simply maintaining an established product.
