Data Scientist - Insurance

- Develop data processing scripts using SQL and be able to optimize complex sequences of SQL Queries - Perform data analysis for complex use cases using SQL document technical specification for the cognitive applications that we are creating for the customers - Design, train, and deliver Data Science solutions using all modalities (tabular) and of all sizes (small, or big data) - Explore data and communicate insights clearly to non-technical as well as technical audiences - Analyze experimental results, iterate and refine models to create significant business impact. - Python, data analysis and any predictions(if applicable) done via python Requirements - More than 3 years of experience in SQL, Python as Data Scientist - Proficiency in databases (SQL Server, MySQL) and skills in one or more languages like SQL, MDX, T-SQL with knowledge of DDL, DML, stored procedures, triggers and performance tuning is a MUST. - Exposure to statistical methodologies like EDA, hypothesis testing, Significance Testing, Linear Regression, Logistic Regression, Random Forest, Time Series analysis basic concepts of NLP, KNN, K-Means etc. - Experience partnering with internal teams to drive action and providing expertise and direction on analytics, data science, experimental design, and measurement. - Experience in analysis of A|B experiments and statistical data analysis - Experience designing and building metrics, from conception to building prototypes with data pipelines. - Ability to drive data strategies, with a central source of truth to impact business decisions. - Proven experience as a Data Scientist or similar role - Expert ability to write robust code in Python. - Expert skill at manipulating data frames using Pandas and arrays using NumPy. - Familiarity with standard machine learning libraries (like scikit-learn, Stats Models) - Excellent communication and presentation skills.
