Job Description
Our client is seeking a Network Engineer to join their dynamic field operations team and take the lead in maintaining, troubleshooting and designing advanced network infrastructure.
Key Requirements
• Strong GPON/FTTB experience
• Advanced Routing & Switching knowledge
• OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VLAN/Dot1Q, LACP & MLAG
• Cisco & Fortinet firewall experience
• Strong Layer 2 & Layer 3 troubleshooting
• Fibre & OTDR troubleshooting
• VPN, QoS, NetFlow/SFlow & Wireshark knowledge
• Network design and topology documentation experience
Qualifications
• GPON certification (Huawei/Calix advantageous)
• Professional-level Cisco certification
• ITIL certification advantageous
• Networking Degree/BSc advantageous
• Matric
• Valid Driver’s License & own vehicle
