Lead UI Developer - Svelte.js/TypeScript

We are looking for an experienced Lead UI Developer / Lead Frontend Engineer with strong expertise in Svelte.js and SvelteKit to lead the development of modern, scalable, and high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate should have extensive frontend development experience, hands-on expertise in Svelte ecosystem, and the ability to mentor engineering teams while driving technical excellence. Key Responsibilities : - Lead the design and development of scalable frontend applications using Svelte.js and SvelteKit. - Architect reusable UI components, design systems, and frontend frameworks. - Mentor and guide frontend developers through code reviews and best engineering practices. - Drive frontend architecture decisions and establish coding standards. - Collaborate with Product Managers, UX/UI Designers, and Backend teams to deliver high-quality applications. - Lead migration of existing React/Vue applications to Svelte where required. - Optimize application performance, rendering speed, and state management. - Implement responsive, cross-browser compatible user interfaces. - Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for frontend deployments. - Ensure application quality through unit testing, integration testing, and performance optimization. Component Libraries Candidate Profile : - 8+ years of experience in Frontend Development. - Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Svelte.js and SvelteKit in production environments. - Strong expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3. - Experience building enterprise-scale web applications. - Strong understanding of frontend architecture and application performance. - Experience mentoring developers and leading frontend teams. - Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. - Ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments. Preferred Qualifications : - Experience in React.js or Vue.js. - Experience building reusable UI component libraries. - Exposure to Micro Frontend architecture. - Experience with cloud deployment and DevOps practices. - Knowledge of accessibility (WCAG) and SEO best practices.
