Job Description

Randstad is excited to be supporting our valued business partner, a leading public sector organisation, in sourcing an experienced AO5 Graphic Designer (Customer & Stakeholder Management). This key position can be based in either Cairns or Townsville and offers a fantastic opportunity. As an AO5 Graphic Designer, you will lead the creation of visually compelling materials across print, digital, videography, and online platforms. Working closely with regional executives and project teams, you will translate complex information into engaging visual solutions that inform and connect with stakeholders and communities across Queensland. Key Responsibilities • Develop and deliver contemporary creative solutions aligned with strategic objectives across print, digital, social media, displays, publications, maps, and video content. • Provide high-level advice to executives and internal stakeholders regarding branding, asset production, and organisational design standards. • Design and produce a diverse range of communication materials while maintaining guidelines. • Build strong internal relationships and coordinate with external suppliers, including printers, illustrators, photographers, videographers, and animators. Requirements of the Role • Advanced proficiency in design, publishing, and video editing software (Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere Pro; and Microsoft Office Suite). • Experience producing high-level creative work for large corporate or public sector organisations. • Understanding of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, including creating accessible PDFs and Word documents. • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects independently in a fast-paced environment with strong problem-solving skills. • Tertiary qualifications in Graphic Design (or equivalent industry experience), 5+ years of visual communication experience, or knowledge of state public sector processes.
